Dr. Pece Mitrevski is a Full Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Economics, Technology and Innovation. He received both his BEng and MSc degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the PhD degree in Computer Science from the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, North Macedonia. His research interests include: architecture and organization of computer systems; computer networks; cloud computing; information systems and programming; performance and reliability analysis of computer systems; stochastic Petri nets; behavioral modeling; electronic commerce; and cybersecurity. He has published about 130 papers in international scientific journals and proceedings of scientific papers presented at international academic meetings, of which 15 are indexed in Web of Science, and 22 in Scopus. In the period 2013 – 2023, he also acted as a mentor for 10 successfully defended doctoral dissertations. He is a member of program committees and a reviewer at numerous conferences, as well as a reviewer of several international scientific journals and a guest editor of international scientific publications from renowned publishing houses. He has paid particular attention to permanent scientific and professional development, has achieved intensive international project cooperation (a total of 17 projects funded by the European Union, through the European Commission) and has repeatedly visited about 20 foreign universities. He is a member of several international scientific and professional associations: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – IEEE; IEEE Computer Society; Association for Computing Machinery – ACM.
