What will you study?

  • First Year 

In the first year, you will build the foundational knowledge of both economics and data science by developing quantitative, analytical, and programming skills. You will: 

·         Understand the basic principles of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and economic systems.
·         Learn mathematical methods for economics and introductory statistics.
·         Develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
·         Begin applying data analysis techniques to real-world economic questions through hands-on lab work.
 
  • Second Year

During the second year, you will deepen your understanding of economic theory while expanding your technical skill set in data management and applied analytics. You will:

·         Study advanced economics, corporate finance, and object-oriented programming with real-world applications.
·         Learn industrial economics, machine learning, economics, and sustainability.
·         Master database management and data visualization.
·         Conduct supervised group projects in economic research, applying coding and data science in practice.

  •  Third Year 

In the third year, you will specialize further, enhance your professional profile, and demonstrate readiness for the job market or advanced study. You will:

·         Learn and apply econometrics and statistical modeling to economic datasets.
·         Choose electives in areas such as professional ethics, Internet of Things, intelligent devices, and e-commerce.
·         Participate in professional internships in relevant institutions such as banks, research institutes, consulting firms, or policy centers.
·         Complete with a final thesis or comprehensive exam, demonstrating your ability to integrate economic reasoning with advanced analytical tools.
